Boost public awareness of the Coast Guard and the Auxiliary
Instill pride and patriotism in local communities
Promote camaraderie among Auxiliary and Coast Guard personnel
Provide dignity at memorial services for fallen Auxiliarists and veterans
Serve as a public affairs tool to support Auxiliary missions and activities
